About Chris

Business strategy grounded in customer reality.

I work at the intersection of Customer Success, account management, revenue growth, and technology. My job is to understand what is getting in the way, make the complex easier to act on, and help customers and teams move forward with clarity.

Professional story

I have always been a problem solver first.

My career started in customer-facing sales and operations, where I learned that trust is earned through consistency, honesty, and follow-through. Technology became a natural extension of that work because it gave me more ways to solve real business problems.

Over time, I moved deeper into B2B technology, SaaS, email deliverability, strategic account management, and Customer Success leadership. That range allows me to work comfortably with executives, customers, engineers, product teams, Sales, Marketing, and IT without losing sight of the business outcome.

I do not believe Customer Success is a collection of check-ins and activity metrics. It is a disciplined approach to understanding customer goals, identifying risk early, driving adoption, and creating measurable value that supports retention and growth.

Leadership philosophy

Clear expectations. Real accountability. No theater.

I lead with curiosity and direct communication. I want people to understand the goal, know where they stand, and have the support and coaching needed to improve.

01

Understand before prescribing

I ask questions until the actual business problem is clear. Solving the wrong problem faster is still failure.

02

Translate complexity

I connect technical details to customer impact, revenue, risk, and operational priorities so decisions become easier.

03

Build durable trust

I am direct about risks, realistic about outcomes, and consistent after the meeting. Trust grows when words and execution match.

How I operate

Practical, consultative, and outcome-driven.

  • Customer value: Tie adoption and engagement to the result the customer is trying to achieve.
  • Commercial ownership: Treat retention and expansion as outcomes of value, planning, and honest relationships.
  • Cross-functional execution: Bring Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations together around the same customer reality.
  • Data with context: Use health signals, usage, pipeline, and qualitative feedback together. A dashboard without judgment is decoration.
  • Continuous improvement: Build repeatable systems, then keep testing whether they still work.

“The best customer relationships are not built by avoiding hard conversations. They are built by having them early, clearly, and with a plan.”
